L1 Residency

The L1 Visa is suitable for investors who own their own companies in a foreign country; to obtain an L1 Visa, you just need to have a good size company in your home country– which should create operations in the United States by creating a branch or subsidiary. The company then will request to transfer you to the United States operations of the company, where you will be entitled to stay for up to seven years. The main condition is that you will have worked in some capacity for the US company outside of the United States within the past three years. Prosper America works through the L1 visa application process with individuals and their foreign company. Our legal team provides the relevant documentation to the USCIS service Center and you can initially stay for up to three years, after which your time can be extended.

The best thing about L1 visa is after you stay in the US under the L1 visa for more than 1 year, you will usually qualify to apply for EB-1C (Multinational Executive and Manager) that provides a permanent green card for you and your family.
